Hello AJ

I saw a nice demo on the Audya on You tube preformed by you. Sounds great.  I have in the past years bought all of the solton/ketron arranger keyboards. Latest the SD1. Now I need to get hold of one of those Audya`s. When can I expect I to be shipped to Norway?

Well, some years passed by since the big hype started, so
it's surely have to pop up very soon now if it's not going
to be yet another Frankfurt Musik Messe or two before we'll
see it in any shops near by. (Most likely far away in this
area.)
Anyway, if the predicted prices here in Norway will be at
the level announced, we can buy 2 another high end arranger
keyboards for that amount of money.
So far no one of the demoes uploaded make me feel the gap
between SD1 (Or other top arranger keyboards) and Audya are
worth that big jump in price.
Audya most be at least wice or more as good as the rest, or
simply made of gold unless it's ment to be in the category
as i.e. Korg Oasys etc.

That's indeed great news, now it remains to see how many items released
for i.e. Scandinavia and when we'll see any of them in real life here.
Also the price level might be interesting to see.
Anyway, download and read the manual is a start ...

You are right AJ, it'only a quick start guide.
i've got my own Audya yesterday, started to study and play it, but i think that first of all we need a complete manual.
i had only 2 hours to try it but i think that there is a lot of work to do on it to configure styles, sounds etc.
let me work on it again tonight and then i will write further impressions.

This is unbelieveable, Ketron start sell the Audya,
and no complete manual in the box??
Did you buy it in a store, or got it as a testitem
from the factory?

AJ, i am wondering, the units shipped now, are they equiped

My guess for April 1 was wrong (Well, it may still be correct, not arrived yet)

The date for Audya arrival here in Norway are now said to be Feb. 09. 2009, and the price is
corrected due to the rate of currency exchange.
Many expected the "forecasted" price level to lower a bit, but here we see the opposite.

Ordinary retail price Norwegian Kroner 59.900 = € 6351 = US$ 8367 !!!

And the "Offerprice" Norwegian Kroner 50.900 = € 5397 = US$ 7110 !!

"Offer" price is the same as you have to pay for two PA2X Pro, and full retail are same price
as two Tyros 3.
In other words, I can buy 1 Tyros 3 and 1 Korg PA2X Pro for almost the same money as 1 Audya !!!!!

WORTH IT ?? Time will tell.....

My local music retailer has phoned to say the Audya leaves Ketron Italy this week and will be on their way to the UK, so we should receive them before the end of Jan - yippee.

Price is still a huge £3999 or £3600 discounted, unless there is going to be a late change to the rrp and mark up prices.
