Hello Ron,
I'd be interested in learning what the new OS's add, subtract, what bugs are fixed etc.
Ciao,
Jerry

Nothing yet. The questions were posed on several Ketron related sites. One site moderator emailed AJ, but no answers yet.
Ciao,

According to a Solton club member who talked to AJ, AJ indicated that rel. 4.2i for the Midjay did not add any new features but merely fixed some bugs like Midjay freezing and wrong characters displayed.

Gang...Is it me...or is there lots of problems reported HERE on this forum...with NO response/fix by Ketron??
Just when I think Ketron might be for me...I look around here...AND I'M NOT IMPRESEED WITH KETROM SUPPORT.
Do they ever fix anything in a timely manner?
Looks like Midjay + has lots of issues...unresolved?
Please tell me I'm wrong!

The Midjay did have some problems, but with this new release it may correct them. I don't find Korgs or Rolands much better either, especially with the fill-in problem on korgs for a number of years now.

mc,
Yep, I agree they all have issues...my concern is of the lack of response here on the forum form Ketron etc. Seems spotty at best. Seems like sometimes no one is listening?

I would not just depend on a forum for technical help, even though AJ & others tries their best to keep up with posts. I would also cc my issues with a model that I purchased to someone at ketronusa.com, since they are the US dist. If you don't get a answer then I would send it to Ketron Italy.

mayeb Ketron doesn't respond because they are so busy working on the AUDYA, developing/improving sounds & styles.... ;-)
