Adding Live Drums, Audio Loops, To Styles

wondering if i can add live drums to styles on my XD3

in particular i wanna add percussion loops, congas, etc, to exisitng or custom style.

audio percussion loops & drum loops are done via the SD1's sampler, if the XD3 doesn't have a sampler?? then the answer would be No.

i want to use the XD3's existing live drums,

i don't want to sample my own,

i just want to add XD3 live loops and add to its styles...

is this possible?

Yes. You can use the XD3's live drums and replace those of the drums on YOUR style or those within a Midifile.

i did not see mention of this in manual,

i just wanna add, let's say a latin live groove (congas, percussion) to an existing style in variations 3 and 4, which does not currently have any "live" drums

sorry but I'm not familiar with the XD.
In my sd1 it would be done via
Pattern Edit Button
and then using the " Copy " function to copy the required tracks to the style..

Does your XD have the option of Editing Patterns ( styles)?? There should be a section in the manual if it has.
