Midjay DIY controller

Hey Ketroners!

I found pretty annoying when I'm playing Midjay Arranger section (styles) and accessing the other menus, like searching for a Midifile or text, to realise that I can't control the Arranger commands any more, like changing Variotions, Fills, Break, even Intro or Ending.

So, I did this little control board, connected to "Footswitch" connector in the left side of Midjay.

It's a very simple schematic, all you have to do is to found the parts and a proper cable. I used a piece of network cable 209M, with 8 wires,so I can control 7 functions.

With this "External Arranger Controller" I can do anything else while play the "Arranger" and still have full control of it.

Would the Ketron standard 13 pedal switch unit also work here?

It should be working, just check if the conector is the same.It should be...I have an old model with 8 pedals..but is big and heavy.
