LYRICS work OK with OS 3.0 on MIJAY !!! - 12/01/05 06:59 AM

I tried as per AJ's instruction to link lyrics with Registrations
and it works perfectly with OS 3.0.

Heres what I did......

on your PC go to START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>NOTEPAD

click on NOTEPAD

Copy and paste your LYRICS into NOTEPAD and use lower case

SAVE your lyrics with THE EXCACT name of your
REGISTRATION [very important]
[your lyrics will automaticaly be saved as a txt file]

Turn on your Midjay

attach your USB cable from the MJ to your PC

on your PC click START>MY COMPUTER
you will see your MIDJAY Icon listed as a drive eg: E,F,G etc

click the MJ Icon to open

click the WAVE folder to open

COPY and PASTE you LYRIC txt file into the WAVE Folder

On your MJ push your WAVE button to open
PUSH EDIT and scroll down to DIRECT GLOBAL VIEW & push enter to put
a check mark next to it [very important]...then exit

Push your LYRIC BUTTON to view lyrics make sure you see the lyrics

Now push your REGISTRATION BUTTON to view your Reg files choose the
matching name Registration to your lyrics

Push Registration Button & then SAVE>ENTER to Save the files together

Now whenever you bring up that Registration the lyrics will appear
also!!

If you want shut off lyrics push the Lyric Button

Donnie, I am very glad that A J answered your e-mail on attaching lyrics to patterns in the registration memory with 3.0 OS. I on the other hand am very glad I returned to OS 2.0 as now my play list, continuous play mp3’s and registrations that I had spent many hours on are now working fine. I feel the use of the afore mention functions far out weigh the changes in the 3.0 operating system for me personally
