AJ, Help with Global reverb on XD9 - 07/01/03 10:21 PM

AJ, whenever I go into song mode for some reason the global reverb changes to 10 (I keep it at 7 or 8). How can I stop it?

bzw,

You cannot actually LOCK the reverb amount since this value is determined by the midifile once in Song Play mode (different songs have different effect values).

However, you can lock the reverb type by:-

* Pressing EFFECTS (F2)
* Select the EFFECT type you want to lock.
* Lock the effect with EFFECT LOCK (6).

Again this maintains the effect type no matter what you play - the value is determined by the song though.

Thanks,

Thanks, but how should I adjust the individual values in the midifile so that it shouldn't happen?

bzw,

The best way would be to use an external sequencer software for this. In SONG PLAY mode, you can go to GM parts and page to EFFECTS where you can adjust the independent effects of each track - maybe too much work this way?

Thanks,

AJ, I took one midifile as a test, set the reverb on every channel to 0, and saved it. As soon as you either stop the midifile, or start a style, the global reverb jumps back to 10. There's got to be a better way...
Does anyone else have this problem?
