SD1 DISPLAY PROBLEM

I don't know if this is the "famous" display problem. It happens that on my SD1 the display suddenly lowers the contrast. I took the keybard with my dealer and he told me that a chip needed to be tightened. The problem happens less frequent but is still there. Do I have to change the dispay or what do you recommend?

This problem is happening to almost all SD1's (at least the 'early ones')

Ketron is replacing the display and makes tiny modifications to the connectors on the board where it is mounted on.
In my case I got a complete board including display..... FOR FREE. Perfect service because my SD1 is > 2.5 years old.

So I recommend : Ask your dealer to contact Ketron for free replacement.
