When you say load , does this mean that you have already copied the samples into master folder 94 on the harddrive ?

All samples must be on the harddrive 1st , before you can select and press F2 for load .

Have you had any success loading any of the samples or sampled that are on the harddrive of the SD1 ?

I remember AJ telling me when the SD1 first came out that the sample ram was dynamically allocated which means that although there could be up to 16 MB of memory, the use of registrations, patterns, etc.will eat up some of what you think should be available to the sample RAM. AJ will have to explain this in more detail, but I'm pretty sure I'm right. AJ, please help me out here!

no!!
When I start the keyboard, and I load a sound, the SD1 say "16000 FREE" (little minus 15XXX)
If I load a sound of "2000" , memory left is not "14000" but "10000"
numbers are not exact but you can understand the problem....
necdetdoni what sounds are you loading??? send me the best

I am trying to create a software to create sounds for SD1 in the computer... I hope it will be less bugy of the ketron sampler...

When your SD1 powers on, do you have:

* The autoload (for Sound) feature enabled (that is some sounds automatically load when the keyboard is powered on)?

* The autoload (for Style) feature enabled (that is some styles automatically load when the keyboard is turned on and some of these styles might require some sound loops that also get loaded in the process)?

* Odd number of KB of sample ram that might create 'holes' in memory (should be OK in 4.0b)?

Let me know.

Thanks,

AJ

I don't use the Autoload function, and I have the OS 4.0b, and I have the problem.
I will send you the files, and you will see the problem on your SD1 !!!
