Update 4.0 .... why this delay ?

Waiting gets harder every day....
The beta version is showed on NAMM, some dealers HAVE the Beta but still no official release. Ketron started announcing many months ago this product and gave the impression it was a finished product, soon to be available on the web.

However im in agreeance i was told up to two weeks so im anticipating it any time. I dont want a beta copy though i sooner wait for the full version completed with minimal bugs. it would be nice if they said theres a delay at least your kept in the picture.

Early release of software with bugs is common nowadays as companies rush to meet deadlines and demand. But I commend those that simply wait until all the major bugs have been ironed out. It is much better to wait until a product is reliable rather than get an early beta release. While it can be hard to be patient waiting, the alternative is not acceptable. I'm sure Ketron will release the new OS as soon as they are comfortable with it. I spoke with AJ at the Ketron booth at NAMM and he was demonstrating an SD-1 featuring the new OS and it seemed to be very close to being finalized. I'm sure you will be seeing it quite soon.

I just got the update in the mail today,,but the dog chewed it up.....just kidding.
