cost, weight of EXP for sd1?

how much is the EXP addition, and does it add to weight
of the sd1?

I think it's more of a software & chip ugrade, ie it's not an additional piece of hardware as far as I'm aware.

You're right. The weight is under 1Lb (Cd and chip) - in most cases, just CD!
