HankB and I are having trouble with the MJ. It seems that on playback one of the outputs is suddenly much softer than the other. Is there a Pan setting or something similar that we are overlooking?

Hank took the cover off and jiggled the wiring where the outputs connect to the board and everything started working again. It is most likely a cold solder joint or something similar.
At any rate, it is a mechanical problem rather than software or operational.
