I remember at one point they where talking about a upgrade for the X1. Is that still the case.

Mid February was the last date mentioned by AJ (in the end of last year) for the new release, if I remember correctly. Not a promise, an indication only. But in any case X1 upgrades will only come after the new SD1 4.0 OS is out...
