AUDYA leaflet - 04/07/07 01:10 AM

Found this link at GeneralArrangerForum. It's a leaflet
who give a better sight of AUDYA.
Strange that Ketron don't have any "Breaking News" at the
website as long as printed stuff like this are to find.

Thanks for the link, nice picture.

Hmmm, I don't like that the "Jump" button are gone, and also that
there are only 1 fill button!
Also the "To end" button are gone, so why do Ketron remove some
of the features who really make a difference??

Come'on Ketron, it's space enough and the nice layout will not be
worse if replace that really great features!

Gunnar Jonny

JUMP - Feature available and can be activated via menu.

FILL - Linked to Arranger (4 fills in total plus BREAK).

TO END - Ending 1.

The features are still there ... just placed differently.

Thanks,

AJ

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/07/07 08:45 AM

Sounds good AJ, but if fills are linked, can you still choose whatever
fill you desire for that pattern, or are you stuck to the fills mapped
for each variation?
What I mean is, if you want to use i.e. Fill 1 between Var. B and C or
C and D up or downwards, is that still possible?
Since there are only 1 fillbutton etc., are any buttons assignable to
what the user desire?

Thanks for your info, looking forward to the real thing

Regards

Hopefully, that is the case... it is not with the SD5, where many "Ending 1" endings are much more than the 1 measure "To End" endings on the SD1. A true 1 measure ending is necessary for when you want to create your own ending.

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/07/07 02:54 PM

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/07/07 10:29 PM

Numeric pads, look at the voices section

Guess it will be more than 5000€ here, since the SD1Plus
still are priced over 4000€.
Looks like we're living in another world when it comes
to taxes and sales commission.
But, we have a great nature, well, except from the snow
of course!

sd1 also has this 1-16 buttons in voices but it doesn't work as a number keypad for inserting values!

the one on the sd1 (in the style section) is very usefull...

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/08/07 09:15 AM

Is there a release date on the new keyboard?

Gunnar Jonny

There are 2 assignable tabs to which you can assign features (such as FILLS) to.

Thanks,

At "Eskildsen Musik", a Danish music store they write: "Ketron Audya - Levering måske jul 2007". I don't speak Danish, but it has to mean something like: "Deliver starts mid Juli 2007". Sounds promising. Now I am really curious about the price. It has to be in the pricerange of the Tyros2/G-70/E-80/PA1X to be competitive.

It may mean one of two things, because "Jul" also are the
Danish (Scandinavian) word for Christmas as well as it can
be shortening for July.

Well, time goes fast, maybe a little bit slower when waiting
for something good, and X-Mas is a nice time for presents.

Happy Playing.

Btw, "måske" = Danish for maybe and/or perhaps.

Thanks for the explanation! So it could be July or somewhere around Christmas............ Oh well,if it is going to be too expensive it wouldn't matter when it will be released. I am very curious about the price of this board.

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/11/07 11:26 PM

The Audya should be released at the end of the year. Speaking of the price, my guess is that it will be in the 3000 euros range; I don't think that a potential customer would pay more than that, no matter how powerful its features will be.
In other words, a price higher than 3000 euros would simply put it out of the market, of course in my opinion.

I totally agree with you!

Re: AUDYA leaflet - 04/13/07 08:45 PM

Ahhhh.... you guys are spoiled!

You should try a shoppingtour and buy keyboards here.
"Ordinary" price for i.e. a Tyros2 or a SD1Plus they
say are Norwegian Kroner 36.500,- or so.That's about
4500€ euro, or 6000$ US dollars!
Then it's of course som offers around, who brings it
down to more "normal" prices, 3500€ / 4500$ +/-.
So my guess are still that the new Audya are going to
cost more than 5000€ here.

Anyway, the joy and fun music brings are priceless!
I'm just waiting for the next generation keyboards
who start to play all the songs I'm thinking of, even
before I've touched any of the keys.

Happy Playing
