Solton MS50 - Broken Disk Drive... - 12/22/02 07:05 PM
Hi, I own an MS50 Solton keyboard and the disk drive doesn't work anymore... would anyone knows where I can get another one, or if it's possible to convert any PC floppy disk drive to work with this keyboard. Or is it possible to hook it to a computer for direct download of Music Styles from the computer's hard disk.
Thanks for your help,
Sylvain

You can use a standard PC computer disk. Contact your dealer for further info. on how to do this.
Thanks,

AJ :
My SD1 FDD drive causes problems too.
Can it be replaced by a PC-one ?

I went to the computer-shop, purchased a standard FDD (15 USD) replaced the defective one and READY !
I'm impressed by the SD1's 'internals' : compact electronics, perfect layouts/wiring.
