JV or XP???

I have an XP 80, and I'm a serious musician who likes to have the best stuff. I was wondering, now that Roland has come out with the JV models...what is the difference between those and the xp ones? Which is better? I guess I would really love toknow which Roland keyboard is the best, and where the XP80 falls in that category. I would appreciate greatly if someone could answer this for me. Thanks!

The XP's and JV's contain the same sound engines. I believe that the XP80 is equivalent to the JV2080 (minus the keys.)

I got a JV1080 and compared it to the XP50... They have the same sounds.

Oh, okay. Thanks! Since I posted the first post, I've also seen that they have XV series now. Do you know anything about that?

The easiest thing to do is check it out at your friendly Roland site, then search the net for reviews (see also the recent review in Keyboard mag). You can also query the folks on the various XV users groups. Lots of info out there.
