converting svd to syx - 12/10/00 04:00 PM

Hello everyone, this is really bothersome:
i've downloaded these svd files which can only be read by a floppy in a xp60 or xp80. thing is I don't own either of those but an xp30. so how do I convert these things? there is a conversion program on geir kristilsky's (or what's the guys name?) website but that can only transfer patch data to a raw sysex file. only sysex I can read is either syx or mid. HELP! please...

Okay, never mind, I figured it out. If anyone else bumps into this problem: try using winxp or winjv to 'muffle' them svd's into separate performance, rhythm and patch raw sysex files, combine them using any patch editor you like and that's it.
I feel like talking to myself here, in fact, I am!

Well, friend I can honestly say you have made a valid and worthy contribution to this board and like me sometimes you've answered your own questions before anyone had the chance to do so for you.

I never knew that about WINXP. THANKYOU for making a great point.
