GK-2 => GI-10 => JV-1010

I just put together a system for my guitar with a Roland GK-2 into a Roland GI-10 into a JV-1010. My question is this: How do I set the JV-1010 to receive on multiple MIDI channels at once so as to take advantage of the pitch bending capabilities sent out from the "Mono" mode of the GI-10. How are pitch bending signals handled by the 1010? Did I buy too small trying to fit into a small budget? Thanks for the help!
