JV-80 and Cubase - 05/16/00 11:06 AM
I just bought me a JV-80 but I can't get ot to work with my Cubase VST. Can anyone tell me how? If I play notes Cubase records them but when I play the stuff I recorded in Cubase he doesn't uses my JV-80 sounds.

exact same problem with a JV 1010! trying to get answers - I posted here on May 3. I emailed Steinberg, but no response so far. Will let you know if they have answers.

Hi,
I use JV80 and cubase successfully for years, (infact JV80 is my first professional synth).
I'd like to answer your question but I need to know if you use studio module for JV80 or not?
What is your midi interface?

I connected my JV-80 to my MIDI in/out from a AWE64 Creative sound card. It's the first time I do this. Before I worked with a simple master keyboard to control the sounds of my soundcard.
What is studio module?

Hello Bass Man,
You've to read PDF manual first.
In the studio module section it'll answer your question quite clear.
Studio Module let you access your module patches.
