Using controllers with the JV1080

I have an A-33 controller keyboard connected to my JV1080. The A-33 has an expression pedal input. Is there any way that I can use the expression pedal to control the modulation? (i.e is there any way of rerouting the message so it is interpreted as a modulation controller?)
