Keyboard Splitting

Keyboard Splitting - 02/02/01 12:50 PM

Actually, this question is not a Roland-specific one, for it can deal with any synth, but still...
I've got an old Roland JX-8P, which transmits and receives only 1 midi channel at a time. I want to know if there's a way (perhaps by using some software) to make it's keyboard splittable via midi. Sometimes I use the synth as a midi keyboard (connected to a notebook) during live shows, but it would be far greater if it's keyboard could be split. Thanks for any help.

Fungus, Pick up an Anatek Pocket split or Pocket channel , they both can allow multi channel set ups. You can find them for under $40..Fran

Thanks a lot, Fran. I'll check the stores for it.
But do you know if there's some software that can do the same thing?

Jammer live will do that too.
