JD800 samples

Hi there,

any clue where I could find the JD800 factory sounds as raw (multi)samples? (wav not patches)

I'm especially after the 'Throaty' sound and the funky clavs and e-pianos. I don't want to buy the whole beast just for that.

Otherwise, which (affordable) 19" module has JD800 sounds on board?

If you can find one, the JD-990 was the rack-mount version of the JD-800.
It's also semi-compatable with the early JV-80/880 series.
It's a fine sounding box, but be warned, it's max. polyphonly (spelling?) is 24 notes, and can drop to 8 notes when a patch uses uptp 4 tones.
