I listen to Prince's music over the years and I know in his 80's recordings he used the DMX drum machine. I was wondering if anybody out knows how he did the clap sound on the DMX?

Him bang one hand on other. This has been knowen to make good clap sound. Note: use palm side not back of hand. Looks stupid and sounds same.
