Korg M3R module? - 10/13/99 12:33 AM
I recently saw a Korg M3R module for sale in a local pawn shop. I'm not familiar with this module, and I was trying to find out about it. Do any of you know any info on this synth module... For example, how good are it's sounds... how long ago was this module made... is it a good module to have in your studio, and does $300 sound like a good price for it..(used)? Anything you can tell me will be appreciated. Thanks for your help, Gary Thomas

Had one for years (well about 10 - yes they're that old!!) and has served me well. Sounds are the usual type of thing for a s+s module, but if you are looking for any leap-up-and-grab-you-by-the-throat sounds its not for you. A good filler but nothing sparkling - mine has been reduced to the back of the studio gathering dust ever since my TR rack turned up. $300 sounds a reasonable deal to me, but as with anything like this, try before you buy.

$300 Agh! I bought mine a year ago for $180 shipped. It is worth that. $300 seems a bit over market to me.
