Kohler Digital Grand/Korg Triton

Kohler Digital Grand/Korg Triton - 05/12/05 09:46 AM

Just sold my acoustic grand piano and am deciding whether to replace it with a Yamaha Clavinova CVP 307 or a Kohler Digital grand. The local dealer tells me that the inside of the Kohler grand is actually a Korg Triton. Does anyone own a Kohler or have you heard anything about it and if so how does it stack up against the CVP 307?

In a very limited sense this is true.

The Kohler is based on the Pa80, which is derived from the TRITON engine. The original TRITON engine

It does not have the enhanced pianos from the TRITON STUDIO, TRITON EXTREME, or TRITON LE88.

Thanks for the info decided to get the CVP 307 and it was a great choice since I can easily transfer settings between my PSR 3000 and the 307.
