Any T-1 Users out there?

Greetings: I'm just getting set-up and am
looking for software that will work well
with the T-1. The main issue is some of the
control switches are no good, and I am unable
to access all parameters. Wondering who makes
the best user interface for the T-1. I want
to be able to access as many of the parameters via the PC, as I can. I'm using
Windows XP, and also could use advice on a
soundcard. Have been looking at M Audio 2496.
