HI, THERE!
I CAN SEND YOU COPIES OF SOME VERY POWERFUL PATCH DIAGRAMS I "DISCOVERED" MYSELF DURING LAST YEARS, FOR 25$ + SHIPPING (I AM ITALIAN)
THE RESULTING FREQUENCIES ARE VERY DIFFERENT AND WEIRD IF COMPARED WITH THE NORMAL VCO'S GENERATION.

Well this is just an opinion but you shouldn't have waisted your money on that old piece . The new MS-2000 gives you virtual patching , vocoding , analogue sequencing and it's all midi controllable for less than $950.00 with tax . Suddenly , the old stuff isn't cool any more . This is just an opinion though .

Just because something is new and laden with midi features does not make it "better" than an older device. Both synths sound completely different. The MS-2000 is very digital and stable sounding (analog emulation, my a**). The MS-20 is gritty, dirty, with an unbelievable bandpass filter.
Try patching the various outputs into the external processor for some unpredictable effects. Personally, I would take a MS-20 over the MS-2000 any day...it has a character that is not reproducable on any other device.
Hey, to each their own though...
