Exporting Midi files with Genesys XP - 11/27/06 01:37 AM
Hi all,
I am new in this forum and I am definitely a low profile user. I own a Promega2 and a Genesys XP.
I have noticed that exporting midi files to different midi players (like Ketron) I had very bad results. First I thought it was linked to the different hardware.
Then I did some simple tests with my XP and saving midi files for Gem files (RAM) even with less than 16 tracks the results are completely wrong. The midi files created by the XP rearrange all the tracks (different sequential position) and is some cases different instruments as well! Is there something to set up in my XP or do I need to edit the MIDI file and change all the wrong instruments?
