Xp-60 midi control of CDX-1?

What I am trying to do is control My CDX-1's play function from my xp-60 trough midi. I can already trigger my samples from the xp-60 but I can not trigger the play function. I have done it before but that was about a year ago before I moved. Any Suggestion?
