Any SK-88 or 76 Users out there? - 01/26/01 06:22 PM

Gen.Music tech support for the SK-88 or 76 seems to be extinct, just like my 88-key dinosaur! Can I team up with at least ONE other more experienced owner, to share info, sounds, and programming tips? I know they must still have some of these units out there, or they'd have gone chapter 11 by now! Let's help each other! (bobjazzjam@aol.com)

Hello,

I own the SK880PS. It is a newer model. But I think they are otherwise the same basic engine.

To SK880user, are you anywhere near Florida, or have an toll-free phone number, OR know how I can find some tech help from a Florida customer or dealer? This stupid company won't even pass along my phone # to local customers, to give them the option of calling me for even PAID assistance for programming this creature! Please feel free to e-mail me direct. My address should be listed at this web site! ( The only tech rep I've found for these older models, is a Mike Chin, at Generalmusic, 1-800-323-0280.)

Unfortunately, I do not have any numbers or names. I depend on my own experimentation and friends here and there. What are you trying to program?

One of the resources you may try is the users' forum at Peavey Website. You may get a reply from the actual peavey technician, especially with a "how to" question.

I wish Roland had a similar forum where I could voice questions/concerns about my G1000.
