WK8LE

Hello,

I noticed GEM released a 'new' workstation, the wk8LE. Now, it has a new OS. Would it be possible to load into my WK8? I know that the WK8 and WK8SE share the same hardware, so you could flash the new OS in it. But is it also the same with the WK8LE? And would I benefit from it; does the new OS of the WK8LE show improvements?

Joostmerema, I understand the hardware is slightly diffrent and you wouldn't be gaining anything by using that O.S. version verse using the wk8 O.S.

Could you point out what those differences are? Faster processor, different memory, other DSP?
