Bugger I don't have any of them,I do have some syquests and after trying came to this odd conclusion, the manual is a bit misleading as it says " any connected SCSI devices zip , jaz , or other removable media can be acessed

The lab was considering adding SyQuest drivers during the development of WK8, (upgrading features from WK4 according to customer requests). I recall this coming up for discussion in the lab at the same time one of the engineers was reading about the demise of SyQuest in a trade magazine. Talk about bad timing !

out of interest just in case I see one at the right price, can the resulting formatted zip/jazz be then read/written to in a PC?

Kevin I use all of the above with my Roland G1000, It can be read on a PC, but if I alter, add or delete any material on the PC, the G1000 will no longer read correctly[Roland has a data base manager to use with a PC]..Fran

Yes you can read the disk on a PC. SCSI ZIP 100s are selling for around $15 on e-bay at the moment.

Yes I'm in the uk and there are a few zips on offer on our ebay, but I cant help wonder why the interface was so picky, I thought scsi was scsi 7 or 8 various devices
