multiple drumkit on the same style? - 11/26/01 12:38 AM

Can you have a style where one variation uses one drumkit and other variation uses another drumkit for sk/wk series?

Thanks

I think this is possible because I noticed that certain styles change sounds when you hit the fillin.

You can change the sound by putting at position 1-1-1 a program change controller. Just change it to the number of the drumkit you want the var to have. Now, you can put another program change at 1-1-1 for the other varations, but also in the one you change, you can put a program change at the last measure (eg measure 4) at position 4-4-127.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Thanks... is there a master track for styles?

And if so, can you Add a style performance?

Well, i have a WK4, and this keyboard doesn't support multiple performances for one style. It wouldn't amaze me if your series does support changing performances during playing. I think go in style edit (red button), go to Record options, here you can set the controllers WK should record. Eg tempo, volume sliders etc. Maybe changing performance is found here?

good luck!
