You might have a faulty battery which would need to be replaced (these are soldered in and need to be replaced by an authorized service center I believe) I had several bad batteries a few years ago on many WK6 and WK2 keyboards which needed to be replaced.

When you start up the instrument do you have to wait until the all the sounds are decompressed and loaded into flash before you can start to use the instrument? Also what OS release date do you have on your instrument?

Yes ! at startup, the genesys says to me : battery completely discharged and must reload all the sounds into flash.
I just put the new OS in the genesys pro...
but never see changes between versions of OSs...1.05
