Zero7 piano/organ sound -- what synth? - 06/06/02 01:49 PM

hi there,

any idea what synth 'Zero7' use to produce their increadibly smooooooth piano/organ
sound?? (e.g. on the track "In The Waiting Line" on their album "Simple Things"). I have a Korg MS2000 and an Oberheim OB-12 synth but couldn't generate that sound :-(

Any comments are welcome!
Cheers!

giganova,

I am a fan of Zero 7 as well -- I love the Simple Things album. I sometimes relax while playing tracks like 'Destiny'. If you are interested in their smooth piano sound, do yourself a favor and find a Fender Rhodes -- a realistic sample of that and you will be on the right track. I use the Yamaha Motif, and I am very impressed with its Rhodes patch.
