Are you talking about the Studio Electronics SE-1? If so, I would probably go with that.

The reliabilty of the Se1 ( yep Studio Electronics SE1) cause its new appeals to me , but I want to get that sound from Herbie Hancocks Chameleon. Which was an arp, which doesnt appeal to me so much cause its old
