Hi
I am trying to do a remake of Joey Beltram's classic - Energy Flash.
This is about fun and learning. Couple of stumbling blocks already.
The sub bass sound which can be heard at the intro (right from the off) and the classic sound heard from 46 seconds onwards.
I have Ableton 9 and various soft synths to mess with, and a Novation Xio Synth.
Here's the song for those that might not know it.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated. I'm not after samples or patch names from synths but advice on getting as near as possible to the originals. Thanks!!
