I had ordered a Cordoba Gitane model (a Selmer-MacKafee design from the 30's-supposedly like the one that Django Reinhardt and others played). What came in was the model I was interested in, but with a pre-amp and piezo.
I re-ordered and got the one I wanted. The pre-amp one wasn't even in the Cordoba catalog.
Friday, I offered the owner of the shop the price of the one without the pre-amp for the one with the pick-up. I used it on three jobs this week-end, and it's GREAT! Looks cool and sounds good.
