Yamaha SY85 Workstation - Tuning - 04/20/08 02:38 PM

I have a Yamaha SY85 Workstation and I bought it off a friend and it's a pretty nice board but it's just a little sharp from a 440 A. I've been pulling my hair out reading the manual trying to figure out how to get exactly in 440 and just can't seem to figure it out.

Anyone help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks in advance!
Brian

I just finished my first full length CD called Government Cheese. I did it all off my PC and did all guitars, bass and used drum loops of real drummers and EZDrummer for the drums. I'm just looking to find that excellent vocalist because there are no vocals on it yet. The URL is: expertdesign.cc/demo

Are you sure the wheels on the left of the keyboard are both returned to off position. If they aren't that can cause unusual weirdness.

When I was on it yesterday it dawned on me after about a half an hour into playing to see if they were moved or anything but I moved them back and fourth to make sure they weren't sticking in any way but haven't tuned up a guitar to 440 to see if it's still slightly sharp. will do that this evening.

Thank you for your help.

Oh, I almost forgot, is there a way to turn those off? I mean the wheel things on the left?

Thanks in advance!
