Drum machine sync

Hey,
I was wondering whether it is possible to use midi out on a drum machine and link it up to a computer software sequencer which will record not only the midi pattern but also use the samples the drum machine uses?

Highly unlikely.

You would be able to record the samples individually via the audio out..
You could record the drum pattern as a loop..
Unless the drum machine had in-built sampling, you will not be able to dump the drum machines in-built drum sounds.

You best solution is to record the MIDI sequence into the sequencer but then continue to have the sequencing program trigger the drum machine sounds until you know it is final and then record the output of the drum machine to a digital audio track.
