CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW I CAN MAKE MY OWN GLASS MASTER CD FROM MY MASTER CD?

My immediate question would be:
If you already have a digital master (CD) why would you want a glass master?

Have you noticed how all these caps lock crusaders always manage to get a nick with all lower case letters. Truly boggles the mind. You kinda wonder, where did it all go wrong?

BECAUSE A GLASS MASTER IS WHAT IS USED FOR MAKING DUPLICATIONS OF CD'S. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT, BUT I SUSPECT IT RETAINS THE QUALITY OF THE MASTER CD AND DOESN'T SCRATCH AS READILY. WHEN YOU WANT TO ORDER MANY COPIES OF YOUR CD FROM A DUPLICATION COMPANY, I WOULD THINK THEY WILL DO IT AT HIGH SPEED WHICH WILL MAKE THE COPY NOT AS GOOD AS THE MASTER. MAYBE WITH A GLASS MASTER THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN? ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW FOR SURE?

I know for a fact that it doesn't make ANY difference.
You don't really need the GLASS master.
If someone who works for aCD duplication company told you that you need a one - Tell them to get a space helmet. They need one as much as you need a glass master.
Bottom line is NO copy is as good as the original.
It's CDs man, not Vinyl records or tapes - Don't worry about it. Even if you copy it a thousand times - you won't hear ANY difference. It's still going to sound like the original. At least to a human ear. Trust me.

PS Dude, What's with the CAPITALS? I mean if you have trouble seeing small print, then do what I do - Use ZoomText 8 (PC), inLARGE (Mac OS9) or Universal Access (Mac OSX). I'm not kidding. I'm using Universal Access as I'm typing this.
