A Simple Bossa(?) - 07/20/06 09:32 PM

Hi,

Does anyone have a drum pattern for a simple Bossa Nova MIDI piece. I'm trying to perfect my version of 'By The Time I Get To Pheonix'.

Thanks,

Hi,
I can't think of any specific MIDI files but I suggest you search for a bunch of bossa novas on MIDI search engine: http://www.midisite.co.uk/midi_search/

Generally, standard MIDi files (GM) aren't that great for drums and percussion tracks but you never know. You might find something usable. Lots of creative copy pasting to do but you might end up with something reasonable enough to sound like latin drums/percussion.

good luck,

Yes, with thanks to you, I've found the one I need. I hope this topic stays open so I can keep you upto date on my progress.

To 3351, and anyone else,

I've finished the piece in MIDI, but I think it sounds better without drums. I've made a recording in MIDI and also in MP3. If you want a copy let me know.
