would I purchase a Roland

I have the opportunity to buy (second hand) a Roland VA 7 keyboard. Can some users or knowledged people post their experiences or opinion on it? What would they prefer if they dislike this one?

When the Roland VA-7 first came out, I purchased one.It sounded great but I was use to the G1000[easier to use live]..I sold this VA-7..Later I purchased a used VA-7 version 2[great updates] and I grew to love this board..I recently sold it to make room for the new Roland G-70....If it turns out that the G-70 does not meet my expectations...I will buy another VA-7 version2.....I also am still using my G1000[my all time favorite]....

You won't go wrong with a VA-7 [version2 update]..

Thanks Fran!! I don't know whether the offered VA-7 is a version 1 model or a version 2 one. But I saw that one can download - on the roland keyboard club pages - an OS version 2 for the VA-7. I suppose you obtain then the version 2 model on which you made your considerations?

Hello...Could Maybe Fran or someone please Explain the Differences between the VA-7(Ver2) and the VA-76...I too may be Interested in that Route soon...Thank you, Harold
