i think boomstick is right, i've tried it out many ways and it's always the six note i hit, and it's not quite out but it's going. sometimes no sound, sometimes static poppy, sometimes sound. thanks everyone. no thanks to dj rampage who sold me the thing

im sure it could be fixed , do you have a local roland instrument repair shop?
