Roland vx 2020 or fantum rx? - 01/13/05 08:36 PM

With respect to sounds, is the roland JV2020 or one of their other sound modules better than the fantum rx? I know that the fantum rx has the sampling option and the 6 expantion board options. Are their any other differences? Would both of them tend to have the same sounds? Are both of them the same when it comes to using an external sequencer?

I hope these are not too many questions.

Thanks

Unfortunately the Roland JV , XP , XV , and Fantom are all the same . The same sample libraries and the same effects algorithms . They are differences in how many effects or if it has an arpeggiator or if it offers sampling - but that's it . Try looking at an older one , see if you like the thing , it will save you money .
