Opinions on the Yamaha S03 or Q6.2 ??

I am looking for a synth in the $5-600 range anyone got ideas, I am mostly interested in good piano and organ sounds. Thanks

Well, if you need a good keyboard with good piano and organ sounds check out Alesis QS6, QS7 and a weighted action QS8.
They go for about $400 - $600 used.

Also check out Yamaha EX7 (not DX7 ) and Roland XP50.
All of those synths have nice on-board Samples and FX, so if you want that "Deep purple"Hammond C3 (or B3) or a clean rich grand piano sound - you got it.
I especially like the pianos and organs on the Alesis Q synths - very realistic.

Thanks for the reply, I want to avoid used gear. How about the Korg x5d anyone tried one of these?? Remamber piano sound is my biggest concern then organ?? Suggestions in the under $700 range?

Well, a friend of mine own a x5d and do not like it because it owns old sounds! Try to get a XP30 for example, less money and a lot of synth!

Ended up with a Motif 6, Spend alot more but it is everything I ever want except I should have gotten a 7 who knows but maybe next year i'll get a ES 8!!
got it from Dan O at Keyboard city in Baltimore he had a great price and great service I highly reccomend.
