Hey,
I am currently using an ASR 10, & want to switch over to an E-mu e6400 for better sampling options. But will I be able to load my old ensoniq disks into it? I have years of work on these disks, so I'm worried about the switch. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance

Hi,

Not directly. However, if you have a hard drive and can save them all to your hard drive, there is a pc program called Translator (www.chickensys.com) which I believe can convert them for you. I don't know how much of the programming of the programs comes over, but according to their website, it will convert into EOS format.

Translator does not support floppy disk conversions so you'll need to get the samples/programs onto a hard drive or CD Rom first.

HTH,
Fernando
