Hi Tom,

Have you tried E-mu's website? I'm sure that it would be available there. The EOS upgrades are available there.

Yeah ok I see an update chip for the ESI-32 for the same version that I need (3.02) but is that the same chip that is used in the ESI-4000? I contacted EMU about this but there was no reply as per usual. Any useful info will be much appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. 100 bucks to go from 3.01 to 3.02 is pretty rotten of EMU. I can't even use Recycle 1.7 with it yet.

I have the same question?
Me reason for upgrading is ONLY because I whant to use recycle 1.7
I was just wondering if the upgrade is pure software, or you have to upgrade the eprom aswell.

Hi,

Well why not use Mobius or Wavesurgeon with it then. Not unlike Re-cycle but works in Stereo and is much cheaper

Well I finally got my ESI upgrade. It took a long time but I got it for free from EMU. Only because I have the ESI 4000. Contact the service department and be persistant. They get piles of mail every day and don't read most of it. Don't expect immediate results either. BTW the upgrade works fantastic and so does Recycle 1.7. The ESI 4000 Combined with Recycle, Wavelab 3, ACID PRO 2, Cakewalk Pro 9 and a mass of plug-ins enables me to make the tracks that I was just dreaming about years ago. My music has come alive with SCSI and a sampler!
