Anyone had any experience with using the WK-1800's accessory disk? I'm hoping the additional sounds and rythyms can be used in the song sequencer (real-time not pattern).

Thanks!

Terry

The rhythms/tones on the disk are loaded into the Casio 'user' area...then accessd like any of the 'built in' rhythms. So, they can be used in the sequencer. I found, that having a computer based sequencer program (like my favorite 'Power Tracks' from www.pgmusic.com ) ...is much easier to work with. It works really well with the Casios. Using a computer sequencer requires a midi cable connection (like the USB to midi, or soundcard joystick port to midi).
The Power Tracks program can also record 'audio' data (using the Casio output jacks, or headphone jack) ....so, you can record the actual Casio sounds to your computer, as wave or mp3 files. This allows you to add your voice, or other instruments, mix in midi information, and add 'layers' of playing...to build full arrangements.
