I have a Sy77 hooked up to a Korg Triton...I want to be able to play them in time together via midi without the Sy77 triggering the Tritons sounds and vice-versa ie how am I able to use the 16 tracks on each independently to write songs..but have them synchronized??
Help!

I'm not too familiar with the korg triton or the other sequencer you got but the typical way to synchronize two sequencers is to allow one piece of equipment to trigger the other. First, choose which one you want to be the controller (Let's let it be the Triton). Plug the midi wire in the out for the korg and in the in for the other sequencer, which must be set in a slave mode. Set the triton so that it will transmit midi clock messages. Finally, trigger the triton and they should play in sync. Hope that this helps.
