Just was checking out a new Premium Expansion Pack from Yamaha MusicSoft,named “Greetings From Italy”, for Tyros 5.

The “Greetings From Italy” expansion pack is a musical post-card coming straight from the amazing Italian folk music tradition, spanning from Tammurriata, Quadriglia, Naples Rumba, Pizzica, Tarantella, Saltarello sound groove and styles to Italian Ballroom voices and styles (Walzer, Mazurka, Polka, Tango, Fox, Moderato and many others). Besides, the most famous Italian sound in the world: Opera Soprano voices (Strega del Bosco, Laura Solo, Maria Soprano, Dea Fortunae) are unique Solo Vocals inspired from themes and melodies of Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer soundtracks.

The Opera Soprano sounds are performed by experimental singer and vocal artist Alessandra Bosco. Quite realistic and uniquely applied to certain styles and OTS positions. Check out the Style Demo MP3s. I like the vocal effects in the Imperial Rome Style demo, and the Laura's Theme Style demo .

Iulik does a nice job demoing one of the styles and female solo voice. Nice how the female voice is also incorporated realistically into some of the styles in this latest pack.

The Tyros 4 was a real winner with Yamaha introducing realistic vocal/choir effects into their voices, styles, multipads and expanded upon in the Tyros 5 and several expansion packs.
